Hope

Hey everyone (that is if anyone reads this)

Some people believe that they can handle anything on their own, and others turn directly to God. I can tell you from my parents' divorce to all the other worries I have faced in my 3 years of being a Christian, that God is definitely the best choice. Nothing has shown me more that my life has a purpose, one that I will not get to see until I go home.

This is why I titled this "Hope".

I know that through God I can do all things, I am pretty sure any Christian knows at least that verse: "I can do all things..." but not only do I have the power to overcome these obstacles but I can do them with grace and a hope. No matter what happens here in this dirty planet, we are just passing through to our real destination. We as Christians have a knowledge of a hope that makes any trial worth it. A love that was lifted above all, pierced hands and the blood stained cross of redemption. God calling us home with arms open wide and a shout so loud that it has transcended generations. We do not need to fear, for we all know that these bodies are failing us and our souls are only being strengthened in Christ. So with this meditation of my heart, I hope you too can see that grace and hope are worth everything. No amount of cars or apple products could measure up to the free salvation that we are offered in Christ.

Although I would like to end with a question. One you should ask yourselves. Salvation is free, but are you willing to give your life to retain it? Become a disciple. Pick up your cross and follow Jesus. Crucify yourself, become a new creation.
