Taking the Reins

When we are saved many say that they feel called to ministry. But the truth is that we are all actually called because we are made one in Christ. What do you want from your relationship with Jesus Christ? A great quote I once heard stated: "A little faith will bring your soul to heaven, but a lot of faith will bring heaven to your soul." The more faith you put in essentially, the more joy, comfort, and even leadership you will take out. That's what this post is about. Leadership. When we are saved, it is our decision to lead or leave, because we in Christ are not called to follow anyone but Jesus. No celebrities or politicians or media or anything else, because we are supposed to be "Holy" or "set apart" from all others. I was watching a sermon last night from a man who is with the popular band, Jesus Culture. He brought it to my attention (then God did the rest of the work, naturally) with saying yes to the question of leadership Christ is asking all of us. Will you lead nations to praise God? Or will you wait on the sidelines? Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!”
