Your Battle

We all face battles in life. Some have to do with guns and bloodshed, while other's wars occur deep in their souls. My question for you is what is your battle? Do you struggle with addiction? Or lust? Or gossiping? Or lying? Is your faith where you want it to be? Or is it suffering as you feel that the world is slowly crushing it out of you? If we could see the so called spiritual warfare going around us every day it would be astounding. Our will power put to the test against our own downfalls tailored by the devil. You see we are always under this, until we are back home with God, this will happen every day. But you see, Jesus came to give us the ultimate defense against any and all attacks made by the devil. Jesus came to set us free from this bondage of sin that has been over us since the fall of Adam at the garden. But things aren't perfect, not close. Jesus never said life would be easy following Him, it would be full of hate from the world. And we as humans are constantly seeking out man's approval of our lives. But what really matters? We are approved by the one who runs the ENTIRE universe, and everything in it. So as you go into your new day, wondering if you will be able to stay away from that sin that always gets you, remember that the battle may be raging, but the One who runs the universe chose to come help you, to stand up and fight with you, to lead you in a victory with His Son. We all have the power waiting in us to change the world, but the one question asked is are you ready to accept Jesus, and change everything?
