Hello people! Thank you for continued support of the blog, means a lot to me. Sorry it has been a while since my last post, it is almost Christmas after all. Anyway, this blog is going to be focused on the song Leaving Eden by Brandon Heath. I think that when you listen to the song it is a very good representation of how bad it was when we were banished from the Garden of Eden. I feel like as soon as we left Eden and out of the constant presence of God, Adam and Eve all of a sudden got sick and hungry and felt pain for the first time. But as you listen to the song, which I hope you do, it eventually turns into the redemption found in Jesus. As when Jesus died for all of us, we were allowed to return "Home" or to God, because that was supposed to be the plan all along, until we sinned and screwed up everything. And out of His great will Jesus came to die for us, allowing us to graciously come back to the love that has been separated by sin. So when you are worried about everything that is going on in our world, because we have a seriously messed up world-all because of sin- remember that we are meant for something so much more. A place where there is no suffering, sadness, or pain. God loves you so much He died for you. And forgives you every single day if you accept Him into your heart.
"Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before Him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider Him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Hebrews 12:2-3
