Highest Glory

IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!! Now as we enter arguably the happiest time of the year, we must look at what is truly the object of our praise and where our glory is going to. When Jesus is going to be born in Luke @, a host (or group) of angels appear to the shepherds of the field and said: Glory to God in the Highest! Now I think that is pretty obviously stating that we need to give God not only the glory, but the HIGHEST glory. Now considering when we put other things in front of God (or Idolatry) we tend to fall away from him, and in turn so do our situations. We get down in the dumps and feel distant from God. But when we look to God and say: All of myself I am giving to you Lord, my talents, faults, and sins. Bring me to You and live in me. Then as we lift Him higher, He lifts us up with Him. And as we all usually turn away from God when temptaion strikes and the devil is tapping on your shoulder ask yourself this: "But what does God's word say?" It will lead us to steer away from the devil's traps, as Jesus did. Overall my friends, remember that we are supposed to be lifting up Jesus, and not Santa Claus over Christmas...Because remember without Christ Christmas is just... mas.
